French Lettuce and Artichokes

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1/4 of onion
  • 1 garlic clove finely chopped
  • 2 pieces of French Lettuce Eva® chopped
  • 7 pieces of chopped artichoke hearts
  • 1 cup of whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon of pepper
  • 2 Cups of Manchego cheese grated

Preparation:

1.Preheat the oven to 200º C.

2.In a deep skillet, melt the butter with the oil and cook the onion until transparent.

3.Add the garlic and cook for a minute, taking care that it does not burn.

4.Add the lettuce and cook for 5 minutes until all the water evaporates, then add the artichoke hearts and cook two more minutes.

5.Add the whipping cream and season. Place the mixture in a baking dish and cover with the cheese.

6.Gratin in the oven for 5 minutes and serve immediately.
